Information we collect
When you use our enquiry form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, dog’s name, suburb, preferred walk type and anything you include in your message. The form marks which details are required and which are optional.
We may also collect information you choose to give us by phone, text message, email, Facebook or Instagram message, or when we meet you.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry;
- arrange a free meet-and-greet and dog walking services;
- contact you about bookings, changes or matters involving your dog;
- keep ordinary customer and business records; and
- manage safety, complaints, legal requirements or disputes.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Service providers and overseas processing
We use a small number of service providers to run the website and receive enquiries:
- Web3Forms is the service selected to process website form submissions. Its published policy says form submissions may be retained for up to three years unless deleted earlier.
- Google provides our Gmail inbox and the fonts loaded by this website.
- Vercel hosts and delivers this website.
- Meta provides Facebook, Messenger and Instagram if you contact us through those services.
These providers may process information outside Australia. Web3Forms says it operates from India and uses infrastructure in multiple regions. Vercel says information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. Google also operates services internationally.
You can read the providers’ current notices at Web3Forms Privacy, Google Privacy, Vercel Privacy and Meta Privacy.
We may also share information if required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect a person, an animal or our legal rights.
Website data, cookies and tracking
The Paws on Point website does not currently include advertising pixel or analytics code. When you visit the site or send a form, our hosting, form and font providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and request time.
Web3Forms says it may send a form submitter’s IP address and email address to CleanTalk or Akismet to check for spam, abuse and phishing.
If you follow a link to Instagram or another external service, that service’s own privacy practices apply.
Storage, security and retention
Personal information may be held in the service providers described above. Their account controls and security measures help protect it, but no internet or email service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Paws on Point does not currently use a fixed deletion schedule. Enquiry and customer records may remain in our email or provider accounts while they are needed for the enquiry, services, ordinary business records or legal reasons. Copies held by our providers are also subject to their systems, retention periods and legal obligations.
Access, corrections, deletion and complaints
You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. You can also ask a privacy question or make a complaint. We may need to confirm your identity, and in some situations we may need to keep certain records for legal or business reasons.
Email pawsonpoint4169@gmail.com or call 0418 506 177. Please explain what you need so we can respond properly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our website, services, providers or privacy practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
